Adult Education at WCHS offers two programs: ESOL to enhance English-speaking skills, and GED to obtain a high school diploma. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Call for registration dates, which occur approximately once a month.
Students must be at least 18 years of age or older. They must meet State of Florida residency requirements by providing two documents proving at least 12 months of residency in the state, which can include a Florida driver’s license, Florida registration card, I.D. card, home or apartment that is owned or rented by them (lease agreement) or by their parents/guardians (legal documentation needed), utility bill, cell phone bill, etc.
Fees for Florida residents are $35.00 and non-Florida residents are $125.00.
After registration, students will need to take a TABE test to determine proper placement in their class(es).
