The Wesley Chapel High School Media Center strives to provide an environment which encourages users to explore new ideas and technologies, and to develop information literacy skills, thereby fostering life-long learning.
The Media Center is open 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 7:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. on Fridays. Students must have a media pass to enter during class hours. To get a lunch pass, visit the Media Center prior to 7:30 a.m.

Book Checkout
Books can be borrowed for two weeks and can be renewed. Students can check out three books at a time. Reference and Overnight books can be checked out at the end of the day and must be returned before 1st period the next day. We do not charge overdue fines. Students and staff can use the MIND (Media Information Network for the District) to find books and access the district databases. If a book not owned by WCHS is owned by another school in the district, ask a media staff member to request it for you.
Media Center Rules
- E-mail is allowed before and after school. Permission is required during school hours for e-mail use. Permission will only be granted if the use is for academic purposes.
- No food or drinks allowed in the carpeted area of the media center. Drinks must be in kept in students’ bags or at the circulation desk. Food and drinks may be consumed in the tiled areas only.
- Not allowed on WCHS computers at any time: Games, Chats, Streaming (video or audio), Message Boards, Forums, Blogs or any other social networking sites (i.e. Twitter, Facebook).
