All 11th-grade students (Juniors) will be automatically registered to take the free School Day SAT at WCHS on March 4. This is a college-reportable test that students may use for college applications, Bright Futures eligibility, and graduation testing requirements.

The SAT will be administered digitally, with a shorter testing time of approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes.

This week, Mr. Walensky will deliver School Day SAT letters to 11th-grade English classrooms. The opt-out and accommodation request form will be located on the back of this letter. Families should review this information carefully. Accommodation requests can also be found here: https://accommodations.collegeboard.org/media/pdf/ssd-consent-form-accommodations.pdf

Please note the following important reminders regarding accommodations:

  • Students must be approved through the College Board to use testing accommodations.
  • Completed forms are due to Mrs. Faysash in Student Services by January 16.
  • All ELL students will automatically receive 50% extended time for this test and do not need to return any forms.

I am also attaching a copy of the School Day SAT letter to this email for your reference.
